1. On May 24, 2012, a large-scale death of silkworms occurred recently in Yingdexunchen Town, Qingyuan City, Guangdong. Beginning on May 24, the silkworms raised by 43 silkworm farmers in Wuxing Village of the town were about to produce silk cocoons, but they gradually showed symptoms of poisoning and continued to die within a few days. Silkworms raised by 13 silkworm farmers in Sanjiang Village also showed the same symptoms. The villagers suspected that the cause of the dead silkworms was that the nearby eucalyptus farm was sprayed with pesticides, which caused the mulberry trees to be contaminated.

In mid-September 2012, the Nanzhang County Environmental Protection Bureau received multiple complaints, reflecting the pungent smell of pesticides in the air near Xiaoximen on Shuijing Road in the county seat, and passing pedestrians would feel nauseous or even vomit after smelling it. The environmental supervisors of the bureau immediately rushed to the scene to investigate. Finally, at the site of the demolition site of Zhongfang Company on the east side of the Xiaoximen vegetable market, it was found that a large amount of discarded pesticides were stored, and 13 of them were counted including 40% zinc thiophosphate and enemy kill The variety is about 1300 pieces. Because some pesticides were damaged during the demolition process, the liquid medicine spilled out, giving off a pungent smell.
3. In April 2015, 17 people in Jimo, Jiaozhou, Shandong Province suffered from vomiting and dizziness due to eating watermelon. According to investigations, the watermelon purchased by the patient had an excessive content of the pesticide "Aldicarb", which is an insecticide and is usually not used during transportation. "It may be used during the growth of watermelon, and it is the residue caused by topdressing in the later stage of growth." Because "Aldicarb" is very toxic and has strong permeability, it has been banned from sale and use by the state.
